Mochasoft also has a CE version we use on wireless PDAs ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------ Michael Huber Applications Development and AS/400 Operations Microsoft Certified Professional US Filter - Plymouth Products, Inc. -----Original Message----- From: Leleux@shur-lok.com [mailto:Leleux@shur-lok.com] Sent: Friday, January 26, 2001 11:52 AM To: MAPICS-L@midrange.com Subject: TN5250 for MAPICS I just wanted to share a success story with everyone. We needed to put MAPICS inquiry access in our factory on some existing low-end pentium computers. I wasn't particularly happy with the performance of client access (slow to load, too much disk space, etc.). I found and have successfully used a TN5250 product called MOCHASOFT http://www.mochasoft.dk Very small & fast executable. Have found no compatibility issues with OS/400 or MAPICS. Hope this maybe of help to anyone dealing with old PC's, TCP/IP, and MAPICS. +--- | This is the MAPICS Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MAPICS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MAPICS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MAPICS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: dshaw@spartan.com +--- +--- | This is the MAPICS Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MAPICS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MAPICS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MAPICS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: dshaw@spartan.com +---
