Mapics Environment: DB or Y2K (Mod 4)
PDM and related modules

Hi Mapics ML:

According to Mapics Support Solution ID # 399189, which says in part:

"The option roll current costs to standard costs was added by XAR4. Prior to
this release, a program would need to be written to accomplish this task."

Also, Mapics Support Solution ID # 15.0.1181954.2250108, which says in part:

"PDM costing menu option as, Roll Current to Standard Costs replaces current
rates into standard rates in the production Facility file WRKCRT, and moves all
current cost fields in ITEMASB to the corresponding standard cost fields,
making every element of standard cost equal to current cost."

Is there a utility program available to do this PDM costing rollover from
Current to Stantard Costs? How did you do this at your shop before you
upgraded to XAR4 and later versions?

Is there a simple RPG program that one of the Mapics ML members can send me
that would accomplish this task?

I look forward to hearing from you on these questions.

Regards....
