As an alternative.... We use Formsprint software, they 'created' our forms and we spool them to various lasers that have Intel print servers running tcp/ip. Works fantastic! The formsprint software allows you to create your own forms, but why bother, they can do it faster & better! You can easily set up devices & queues on the AS/400 for managing printing to these lasers, we have specific documents going to certain areas. I think MAPICS has a business partner for the same stuff, you can also check out Quadrant, I think they have a module in addition to their fax module. If you need, I can send some info on devices & queues via tcp/ip (I think they came from midrange mag) cheers.....james "Ted Hendricks" <hendrickst@dnine To: "MAPICS List" <MAPICS-L@midrange.com> vada.com> cc: Sent by: Subject: Forms owner-mapics-l@mi drange.com 11/17/00 04:10 PM Please respond to MAPICS-L We are looking for a solution which will allow us to laser print, Email, or fax mapics forms.
