Skip,
We attended the Chicago conference this year, and the general consensus of our group was that it was very informative on the new products, applications, releases etc... but was lacking in basic MAPICS training, using MAPICS more effectively/productively...  We also attended our affiliates (Harker, Inc., which I believe is the same as yours) user conference and it was just as good, if not better than Chicago.  They presented the same material as in Chicago, to a much smaller group of people which allowed for more detail.  They also had interactive demonstrations of new and existing products, they were available for questions, discussions, and being our affiliate, were familiar with our company's situation.  As far as costs, there is no comparing the two!  Next year hands downs, we are skipping the MAPICS user conference and attending our affiliates.
If you have any questions about either feel free to give me a call!

I'm building a case for my company to attend the MAPICS user conference.

Does anyone have old information, agendas, cost (Hotel, etc) that you can share?
