Mapics Environment: DB Y2K (Mod 4) Module: Inventory Management Option: Physical Inventory Hi Mapics ML: I've been studying our old "trusty?" Mapics manual and I notice two fields that appear in the ITEMBL file: CCFLG - Cycle Count Flag (Normally set to "1" when you want an Item No. selected for inventory counting.) FCYCT - Forced Cycle Count Flag (Set to "blank" when a new Item No. is created and remains that way unless the inventory balance drops below zero, at which point the flag is changed to "1"; thereby "forcing" an inventory counting.) I have several questions about these flags. 1. What is the relationship between the settings of these flags to each other? 2. How is the CCFLG flag reset to "0"? (I would assume this was done by Mapics automatically after the inventory is taken and the perpetual inventory is updated with the inventory count variances using a PH Inventory Transaction.) 3. How is the FCYCT flag reset to "blank" after the inventory balance returns to a normal "non-negative" balance? (Is this done automatically by Mapics?) I look forward to your comments as my learning experience with Mapics expands.
