I first started with MAPICS in 1981-82....seen lots of changes.  The client
stuff is OK and has it's own set of challenges.  What I wonder is ..... I
understand MAPICS is one ERP vendor that increased in value and increased in
install base in the 1999....look at BPCS....they are being sold off .... and
isn't there a rumor of bankruptcy there?  Just what do you feel is in the future
for MAPICS?  We are a small manufacturing company....cost is becoming a BIGGGG
issue.

Uh, I was first exposed to MAPICS back on the S/38 in '83....we had the
same sentiments back then...:)

This is also the same sentiment I have with dealing with alot of the IBM
"business partners"....
