Standard MAPICS offers a few form choices for various forms, but the choices
are very limited. When we migrated to XA, we purchases a forms printing
program called Optio Document Server. This product will allow you to
manipulate spool files and combine them with an overlay and produce a
finished product. We have converted all of our printing to laser and saved
significant money on pre-printed forms. We currently print checks on
pre-numbered stock, but the program has the ability to print the MICR on a
blank stock.

I hate to sound like a salesman for these third-party vendors, but sometimes
the best solution lies outside of MAPICS.
