It's a state of the art set of modules which replace the old AP, AR, GL, and parts of FA. It has everything your accountants ever wanted, but it's a lot more expensive and the conversion from the old "Accounting Management" apps (what MAPICS calls AP, AR, and GL these days) is pretty intense and requires a lot of time and resource to do. We've purchased IFM, the plan is to implement it sometime within the next year or so. Since you're coming from MAPICS II, it's likely that they would have recommended upgrading to the XA versions of the old ones first, anyway, and then converting to IFM later, so you're probably okay with what you're doing. --- Dave Shaw, General Nutrition, Greenville, SC To subscribe to the MAPICS-l mailing list send email to MAPICS-L-SUB@midrange.com The opinions expressed may not be my employer's unless I'm sufficiently persuasive... +--- | This is the MAPICS Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MAPICS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MAPICS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MAPICS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: firstname.lastname@example.org +---
