I am not a Java guy, so it may be problems I have created in the past.
Maybe?
Likely a package manager problem I think. Possibly you need to upgrade
the jre before you can install the jdk? Possibly uninstall the jre,
since it's included with the jdk?. I don't use Ubuntu, so don't know.
Used to have similar issues with RedHat and rpms though.
