Here is a link to an ubuntu forum that should be a nice starting point for converting your favorite RPM packages to DEB.

Converting to rpm to deb (using alien) is easy enough; my issue is
with IBM packages usually only targeting RedHat & SUSE, and only
32bit. Even doing a dpkg --force-architecture doesn't always help as
the packages expect binaries in non-standard (for Debian/Ubuntu, at
least) locations. The Notes packages are pretty good - a colleague
who's only recently installed Ubuntu managed to get Notes going easy
enough, but CA is a different story!

Regards, Martin
