Re: tn5250 time out error.

Based on this response, I'd say the most likely problem is that it's not finding an AS4 entry in your configuration file (or as others have suggested, it's not finding the configuration file altogether)

To prove (or disprove) this theory, try this:

tn5250 ssl:XXX.XX.XXX.XX

Does that work?

I know the 'telnet' command wont work because it doesn't support SSL,
but does it connect to port 992? Or do you get a time-out error?

tn5250_ssl_stream_init() entered.
SSL Method = SSLv23_client_method()

I need help in diagnosing this timeout error as where to start.
