i am not certain if i am running X as i am a real beginner. But i don-t
think i am running anyone of the other names... Forgive me my ignorance

However, what i am running is a program GUI called tn5250 that i run from a
launcher like Writer.

As i had the problem with the size of the Tn5250 screen, i tried the
IseriesAccess 5250. But there is a problem with a dependency that is
missing.

so, right now i can-t access my AS400 at work with tn5250 or ISeriesAccess
5250 for linux.

I know that i didn-t answer your questions, but i dont really know to answer
them. please accept my apologies..

Do you think there is still any chance for me?

Thanks for your help Scott

Are you running X?

If so, are you running xt5250? x5250? gtk-5250? Win32 TN5250 in WINE?

Or are you running console mode?
