Hi Guys:

Thanks for all your input. I'll just give you a bit of an update here.

I had no luck whatsoever installing x5250 as long as tn5250 was installed
in /usr/local. Even when I set the LIB environment, that still didn't
help.

I finally removed and re-installed tn5250 in /usr. Low and behold, I can
now install x5250. I also noticed that tn5250 now showed Macro and
Enhanced support.

In using x5250, I still have issues with the window being Maximized.
Primarily, ghost characters being left over from the previous screen.
UnMaximizing resets the screen and it then looks normal. Unlike xt5250,
this happens every time I go from 80-132 or vice versa, not just the first
time.

So, I think I'll try it on Freebsd 6.something and see how that works out.
