Has anybody hacked TN5250 to get it to link to a Dialer or the Expect program? I saw the thread at http://archive.midrange.com/linux5250/200210/msg00007.html but nothing in the past four years. My boss would love to predictively dial telephone numbers from a TN5250 screen then pop the entire application over the network to a waiting agent once the phone was answered. Personally I'd settle for a function key that grabbed a phone number defined by a regexp on the screen and shoved that into our dialer's agent webpage for one click dialing. One odd thing is that the application we connect to marks date fields as numeric only and the IBM emulator allows the users to type in slashes, but tn5250 balks at this. -HJC
