I read it on the original post but I can't find any info on how to
change that parameter, can you pleas tell me how?

Changing the CPI is not a part of lp5250d, it is a part of the CRTPF on the iSeries. When you create the printer file using CRTPF you need to specify a CPI value of 15 or greater. This is totally unrelated to any lp5250d configuration.
