You need x5250-0.5.2-pre3 to build with current cvs. tn5250.pc is no longer required as autoconf is supposed to figure out everything on it's own just like it does for most other libraries on your system. Grab it from:

If you still can't build it let me know. I thought I had you build this earlier as part of the testing I did?
