how to highlight the text that we want to copy using

slackware 9.0 and x5250-0.5.1.

Copy and paste in x5250 works like every X11 application: you select the text you want to copy with the left mouse button and paste it with the middle mouse button. If you only have two mouse buttons then click both buttons at the same time.

There is no method using the keyboard only.
