Whoops, that's what I meant to say. /usr/local/lib/pkgconfig/ is what I put in to make it work.

I have problems with xt5250 (and x5250) and typeahead in OMS400 (Vision mirroring) and DBU. I've just gotten used to it and learned a little (not much) patience. I do remember having something flaky with typeahead in x5250, but I was never able to recreate it.

I can never get SysRq to work

I modified the source of mine so that SysRq is Shift-Esc. I haven't tried with the new keymapping to see if that can be done (though I did find my missing cent sign mapped to Ctrl-C).

but in the meantime, I find it easier to just use Windows.

Unfortunately, I spend most of my weekdays using Windows. I still haven't figured out why tn5250 won't correctly use my SSL certificate in Windows, so I use the IBM client which is also buggy.
