I trying to use x5250 version 0.5.1 in czech environment but I have problem to type czech characters for example ecaron (on czech keybord under "2"). I add line X5250*ecaron : 0x1ec to /usr/local/share/x5250/x5250 file but when I press this key, there is message "keysym ecaron is not handled". Option XkbLayout is "cz" in XF86Config, locale is cs_CZ.

Probably the right thing to do in this case is to simply return the integer value of the keysym to lib5250 and hope that lib5250 can figure it out. There may be more i18n issues to work out. I've put together a tarball that does just this and put it up at:

Please try this out and let me know if it fixes the issue for you.

(Sorry for my english)

Your english is far, far better than my czech.
