Make sure you're typing the exact commands that we've got listed on the Web site at: http://tn5250.sourceforge.net Specifically, something in the CVS string changed a few months ago. I don't remember what it was, exactly, but I know that the commands we've currently got posted on the Web site work because I just tried them :) > * x5250 > 1. Any way to get better colors out of x5250? > 2. F11 and F12 don't work on Solaris 9 When you install x5250, it should install a file called /usr/local/share/x5250/X5250 or something else (as appropriate for your system.) The code in resources.c should be referencing that same file. If it doesn't, the colors will look goofy. I don't know why that wouldn't happen out-of-the-box (since it seems to be set up correctly, now) but maybe that'll get you on the right track. No idea about F11 and F12. Maybe your Window manager is using them and blocking you from using them in applications? Not sure.
