Hmmm...  not knowing Solaris very well maybe I can't help much.  Do you
have /etc/ld.so.conf?  If so, does it contain /usr/local/ssl/lib?  If not,
add it and run ldconfig (assuming solaris has ldconfig).  Then try the
compile again.
