This problem comes from older versions of NCURSES which don't define the
NCURSES_COLOR_T macro.  This has already been reported, check the
archives.

This problem should be fixed in version 0.16.5. (Uploaded today)

Are you running tn5250 under X?   If so, launch it as xt5250 rather than
tn5250.   The "loadkeys" command is only for console mode.

If that's not the problem, you'll have to give us more detail... what
operating system are you running?  What version?  Are you using X11?
How are you invoking TN5250?  What type of keyboard (country & language)?
