I agree that the HOWTO would be nice to have. But, for Windows documentation, it's a "must", since the man pages don't help Windows users. Thanks for volunteering, but... didn't you say that you're not very familiar with Windows? At any rate, I have a lot of the Windows docs already written (was up til 4am again last night...) so I'll just do the windows part for now. If you like, you can add my work into your HOWTO when it's done.
