Hi Sean,

It sounds like SSL support isn't compiled into your copy of tn5250.

In your tn5250 directory, type:
% make distclean
% ./configure --with-ssl

Does it say "checking for SSL_library_init in -lssl... yes"?
If not, it can't find OpenSSL.
