Mmmm that means that the start-screen is that tiny so it is almost unreadable. or is SVGA-text switching automaticly to 80x25 and 132x.50 ??? > I was thinking about writing a SVGAlib terminal type that would allow > something like that as well as allowing the mapping of the special keys > like ALT and SHIFT. Does anyone have any interest in this? I don't have a > lot of time right now, but maybe some day... ;-) Well that would be great... but how are things running in X ? Is there already an auto-scale function for the fonts ??? I guess not... because if i do huge font (works perfectly in 80x25) and i reach a 132-screen the text is again walking of the screen, so if that happens you have to switch back to the default font to be able to read the whole screen, after that switching back to huge font. Is'nt there an other solution for this already ? In the past people said that it was a lack of the xFree server, but maybe it is fixed in the 4.0 version of xfree ???
