Hi, It depends. If ncurses supports > 80 column mode, then it should be possible (I think) to make use of it in tn5250. I would have to double check the code to make sure we aren't hard coding it. You would have to put the console in 132 column mode BEFORE starting tn5250, though. I was thinking about writing a SVGAlib terminal type that would allow something like that as well as allowing the mapping of the special keys like ALT and SHIFT. Does anyone have any interest in this? I don't have a lot of time right now, but maybe some day... ;-) On Fri, Apr 27, 2001 at 11:55:37AM +0200, Patrick Bielen wrote: > Hello guys, > > Well i had a question. > I run SuSE Linux 7.1 with TN5250 0.16.1 with success at the console. > But the only problem i have is that it does not do 132-screen switching. > Is this possible at the console with the use of SVGA-test modus ??? > > If yes, is there a man, info or any other recourse that i can read to set it > all up ? > > Greetings > > Patrick > +--- > | This is the LINUX5250 Mailing List! > | To submit a new message, send your mail to LINUX5250@midrange.com. > | To subscribe to this list send email to LINUX5250-SUB@midrange.com. > | To unsubscribe from this list send email to LINUX5250-UNSUB@midrange.com. > | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com > +--- -- Mike Madore Software Engineer TurboLinux, Inc. +--- | This is the LINUX5250 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to LINUX5250@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to LINUX5250-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to LINUX5250-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
