We are installing a new software system. To get to the help menus and
screens, you have to press alt-f1 (instead of the customary f1) Pressing
Alt-f1 in the emulator in X windows appears to do the same thing as
pressing f1. I have tried ctl-f1 and windows-f1 in vain hope to no
avail.

I guess my real question is: does the emulator provide for alt-key
masking?

thanks,
Chad
