This should be:

cvs -d ':pserver:anonymous@cvs.cleveland.lug.net:/tn5250' login
(note the /tn5250 instead of the /o/cvs)

The password is simply:  anonymous

then do:

cvs -d ':pserver:anonymous@cvs.cleveland.lug.net:/tn5250' checkout tn5250


or, if you want the gnome-5250 stuff as well, you might append
"gnome-5250" after "tn5250" in the checkout statement.

Once you've gotten it successfully, you need to:

1) cd tn5250
2) ./autogen.sh && ./configure && make
3) su -c 'make install'
4) (type root's password)
