Is there a way to change the keyboard mappings when running in an xterm?
I need to change some of the keys for 5250 emulation without changing the map
for the entire X session. This way the users can have the keyboard layout that
is similar
to our AS/400 terminals, and still have the normal layout when using other x
apps.
This is how our WIN95 boxes work when running IBM Client Access. I would like
to replace
these with Linux terminals.
Any advice is appreciated, TIA

It's pretty easy to do. Find us5250.map (assuming your using us5250.map
otherwise find the appropriate one). Find Keycode 96 = KP_enter change it
to Keycode 96 = Control_k, which is the field exit key. Restart TN5250,
and you should be good to go. This isn't appropriate for XT5250, I don't
believe.

Hope this helps.
