Actually, the flickering problem has to do > with the screen being updated *too* often (sometimes three times per key). The screen updates fine when I can see the screen I'm typing on. But if I've told it to load some program and start typing before the screen updates, when the screen displays, the screen doesn't show whatever I typed. Example, from a command line type WRKOBJ and press F4. Really fast (before that screen displays) type QC or something. When the WRKOBJ prompt screen appears, the first line will not contain the QC that was typed.
