Hi all

I finally tracked down what was wrong in my setup and all function keys now
work properly. The problem was a global set of translations for *VT100 IN
MY .Xdefaults file (stock Mandrake 6.0 entries) as follows.

*VT100.Translations: #override \
<Key>Backspace: string(0x7F) \n\
<Key>Delete: string("\033[3~") \n\
<Key>Home: string("\033[1~") \n\
<Key>End: string("\033[4~")

Removing the section got my function keys and delete working, but Enter
(numeric keypad) now acts as field exit, and backspace still doesn't work
:-(

Regards, Martin
