AFAIK you need to use the binary-only device drivers they provide for
Linux on the IXS....and those device drivers are only built for the "supported"
Linux distributions.


The only way I can think of to get Debian on is to run it on a SUSE or
RedHat kernel.

Interesting. Sounds like a little too much work to satisfy my curiosity on a customer's system. I suppose I'll download myself a copy of SLES!
