I had problems with tn5250j dropping connections when accessing a IPv4
host from a service using IPv6. I had very little time there.   In the
office I use IPv6 server and client, works great.

What are you looking for?  I use tn5250j pretty much exclusively.....

Well, as one might imagine from my rather despondent posts starting
this thread, I'm looking for why, when a host is dropping secured
connections from my emulator right and left, with connections
sometimes not even staying up long enough to sign on, TN5250j (even
without turning stayalive on) stays up as if nothing were ever wrong.

And perhaps the most frustrating part is that when I actually have a
couple of ideas to try, both of the two hosts that were constantly
dropping me yesterday are now behaving themselves.

It's like there is an actual live gremlin in the works, a malicious
intelligence Hell-bent on driving me crazy (to quote an old WWII-era
Warner Bros. cartoon, "It ain't Vendell Vilkie!")
