Subject: Weird error in Tomcat on Midrange box

I've never seen anything like this before, and it's apparently something
to do with Java trying to access an IFS object. Our Tomcat webapp is
reporting this:

org.hsqldb.HsqlException: java.io.FileNotFoundException:
/foo/BAR/db/xyzpdq.lobs (The requested resource is busy.)

I've never seen an IFS object reporting as "busy" before. Any insights?
