J2EE app fails StaleConnection -- JAVA400-L

Jack,

Whenever I see that type of message it means that the connection has been
lost or cut off. Are you running on the IBM i directly via Java or running
on a different machine connecting to the IBM i remotely.

I've seen network or ethernet issues cause this type of error.
