Can the problem be recreated with debug and\or trace active? If not,
the issue might be an uninitialized storage problem; that would fit
with the "intermittent", but also makes very difficult the testing if
the problem goes away.

Unfortunately it's happening at two customer sites and I can't replicate it in house. I'm in the process of ordering the latest 7.1 CUME packages for our internal system to see if it's related.
