"Unsupported major.minor version 51.0" means the class was compiled using JDK 7. Sounds like your Java runtime is 6 or below.

If you're running Java 5 or earlier, you'll need to do more research on version support or upgrade to Java 7.

... its looking like, you've choosen the wrong Driver entry. My Squirrel
installation has three JTDS entries for choice:
- JTDS
- JTDS Microsoft SQL
- JTDS Sybase
you would have to take JTDS Microsoft SQL instead JTDS
