Quick WAG before I head off to other things.....

Are you running them together?  How about the port settings for shutdown 
and other services? Are they the same?  Some bell is ringing about 
making sure the ports are unique for all services on the TC server and 
that they don't conflict with other running services (can't remember if 
6 and 7 use the same ports/listeners or not...)
