I'd also like to add, that my Spreadsheet creation works fine using the
HSSF API's in a more traditional sense, that being Scott K.'s service
programs. Using this method generates an even larger heap, so I don't
believe that the actual size of my spreadsheet is violating some HSSF POI
limit.

Also, if I get this working, I'd like to start investigating what it would
take to pass an entire row at a time, rather than one cell at a time, for
even better performance.
