Hi Ashish,

I don't know anything about Cognos reporting (I typically use JasperReports with my clients,) but it appears they use the NULLID collection for, nore or less, default package binding in specific situations. It also appears they probably use DB2Connect or other proprietary clients rather than running them through a standard JDBC driver.

Your documentation should outline the requirements. You may want to look at:

Google is your friend, and searching for " nullid collection" will give you a number of references.

Subject: what is collection NULLID

HiDoes anyone know about collection NULLID, and how it comes into picture
for JDBC or ODBC connection?

We have Cognos report net and looks like this software needs collection
called NULLID on AS400 to run reports?
