It is very frustrating as it seems to be able to deploy applications you
need a profile with IOSYSCFG, SECADM and ALLOBJ.

That's not really great from a security auditors perspective.

I thought if CL commands could be used they could be compiled to adopt
authority.

I have found a few links to wsadmin, may be that will work with Integrated
Web Service for i!!!

I spent a few months working with this last year.

If you are referring to "Integrated Web Service for i" application
server (http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/i/software/iws/index.html) I
believe the answer is no. I spoke to technical support several times.
This product is geared to exposing existing ILE service programs as web
applications and requires the skills of a system administrator. Several
times I was frustrated by the product protecting me too much.

I have to say that if you can play within its rules it works really
well.

I know you can deploy war files to the integrated application server via
the
web admin interface, but are there any CL or QShell commands for
deploying
the applications.

Thanks
