If you need to simply download the file and launch up the TIFF, you
could simply feed the file back through the browser and let the user
open/save the file.

There are also some applets available for this I believe. Google TIFF,
Java and Applet.

If you need to read the IFS file in with Java, use the JT400 toolbox.

Without more specifics, that's all I have to offer :-)

We have a tiff image stored in the IFS directory. I have an immediate
requirement to load the tiff image from the ifs directory to the browser
