I have a problem with a solution but I was wondering if there was a better way of solving this problem.

I create a EXCEL spreadsheet from data in a file that is suppose to be emailed to the user. But when I use the JAVA POI classes, this creates a multithreaded job and the CPYSTM* commands will not work because one of the IFS directories is not thread-safe. I solved this quickly by submitting a job to move the file to QDLS and use the SNDDST command to email the EXCEL file.

I was wondering if there was an API that I could use to email the file that would get around the thread-safe problem?
