OK, thanks for the clarification, it was the compilers I was thinkingUnfortunately, you miss the point again. Unless this is a shop that has only ONE license for the compiler, then they can have a mix. You can have OPM and ILE licenses in the same shop. And remember, the compiler licenses are by user as well. So, with a little creativity, you can probably reduce your requirements quite a bit.

moved to ILE by now, but the reality is, many are still "on the fence"
and pushing management to let them do stuff in ILE.
I agree, this new pricing will help companies make up their mind,
unfortunately, it will help them make up their mind to stay w/OPM! And
as a consultant add in the complexity that you will now walk into shops
and not be able to use all the tools in your bag of tricks. If it's an
OPM shop, no ILE tricks, and if it's an ILE shop, no OPM tricks.
