What is your usual approach to getting these PCML files for a given
OS/400 release? I am thinking in terms of "given any API name, please
return the corresponding PCML file"?
FWIW: I've created a category in the midrange wiki that contains PCML
specifications for system api's.

Thanks for your response. I have not received any other responses and I
simply cannot locate any resources for the standard System i API's.
The wording for the new RDi[1] say
"RDi SOA also includes a Program Call wizard that generates a Program
Call Markup Language (PCML) file and JavaBeans technology to call any
i5/OS program or service program procedure, such as one written in ILE
RPG. When calling an i5/OS program or service program procedure from a
Java application, the wizard prompts for information about program or
service program objects, along with the parameters for the objects, and
then creates the JavaBeans and PCML file to handle the call."
This unfortunately sound just like the old program call wizard which I
would like to avoid using. I just want the PCML file and I can write
the wrapper myself, thanks.
Is there perhaps some "header files" (just the input/output descriptions
in RPG or Cobol or whatever) that can be read to generate the
appropriate descriptor available somewhere in an optional package?
Anything?
I can get help on API's inside WSDCi so the data is somewhere in there
:) Anybody located where it is stored?
Perhaps Joe Pluta can help getting access to the data used to generate
the help files?
Thanks for any pointers :)
