The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Will that work with a call to an external SQL stored procedure rather than
an RPG program call?
I think the answer is "no" but just want to be sure.
Thanks,
Todd

So far my searches have been fruitless so I'm hoping someone can tell me
if
this is possible or not.
You can use PCML to describe data structures that are passed into RPG
program calls.
Something like ...
<program name="symbolicProgramName"
path="/QSYS.LIB/%LIBL%.LIB/PGMORSRV.srvpgm"
entrypoint="PROCEDURE_NAME">
<struct name="dsName" usage="inputoutput">
<data name="subfield1" type="char" length="10" />
<data name="subfield2" type="char" length="10" />
<data name="subfield3" type="char" length="1" />
</struct>
</program>
