Thanks Joe for explaining GlassFish/JBoss and Go game.

Both Go game and J2EE are indeed fascinating. We are lucky to get to play both.

Regards.

Hi Bruce,

To make my post qualify for this java list I have to ask this
question: Why do you use GlassFish instead of WebSphere or JBoss?

For WebSphere: Huge, ungainly, limited to JDK 1.5 at this point, no JEE
5.

JBoss leaves a bad taste in my mouth for past technical and political
reasons. Both have been mitigated, but Glassfish is the current RI and I'm
(so far) very happy with it.

I am a GO player but this is the first time I see GO stones in
green and red on your conceptGo.com.
Do you really play it in these colors?

For those interested. If it goes much further, we'll take it off list.

Go is a fantastic strategy strategy game I learned in Korea. It's
played on a board with 19 x19 vertical/horizontal lines and you place stones
on the intersections. To capture an opponent's stone, you place your stones
on the intersections from the four lines emanating from the opponent stone
position. It's a two player game; one has white stones, the other black.
There's lots more to it, but you can google for info.

No, I don't play with those colors, but now that you mention it...

They are symbolic for conceptGO's logo. Red means stop and green means
GO, right? So, conceptGO is attacking the red (problem) and will remove it
with green. It's supposed to hint that clients are successful with our
services. Now you know how my mind works, because I'm sure nobody gets it.
But go players should have an idea, anyhow. And I think it's a good logo,
which is difficult to design . I hope others like it as well, regardless of
the symbolic attempt.
