But are you running MULE on the iSeries or on a UNIX or Windows box?

Hi Oleg,

I've got two possible suggestions for you:

1./ If you need a packaged solution specifically to do PGP on System
i, you can try the AS00 PGP software from nuBridges (http://
www.nubridges.com/products/iseries/as400pgp/). These guys have a
pretty extensive suite of encryption and file transfer solutions, but
they're not always cheap.

2./ If you want to roll your own then you can try the OpenPGP
classes provided by The Legion of the Bouncy Castle, an open-source
cryptography library (http://www.bouncycastle.org/java.html). I know
the name sounds funny, but I've had very good results using their S/
MIME classes recently, and I did a PGP project using this toolkit
back 4-5 years ago and I don't recall having any big problems.

Of course the second option is more work, but with these two you're
basically looking at a time cost vs. monetary cost decision.

Hi everyone,

I have a task to encrypt physical file with PGP and ftp it. I'm
looking
into Crypto package. Have anyone done it before on AS400? Any guidance
and/or code example will help.

Thanks.
