Folks:

Does anyone know what creates & destroys the "AS400 Read Daemon-??" threads?

I've got an app that creates and destroys a lot of AS400 objects ... but
the "AS400 Read Daemon" threads seem to be accumulating and not going away.

The AS400 objects are creating using a ProfileTokenCredential object
passed in from another application, but when I'm doing using the AS400
object I execute the disconnectAllServices() method. At that point I
would expect the "AS400 Read Daemon" thread to go away.

Right now I have about 40 of the threads running ... and they've been
running since 4pm yesterday.

I'm also using an AS400ConnectionPool ... but my own metrics on that
pool only show 4 connections in use (more than I expect, but it doesn't
grow).

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

david
