Tomcat versus WebSphere

We have used both for many production web apps.  We have had excellent
results from Tomcat.  It is reliable and easy to use.  Support is available
(on a best can basis) from their site although we haven’t needed to use it.
We have encouraged IBM whenever possible to try to emulate Tomcat.  I would
not hesitate using Tomcat in a production environment.
